Jerry Lawson is the founder and Lead Pastor of Daystar Church, located in North Alabama.

He met his wife Leslie at a small church in their hometown of Eufaula, Alabama. College, ministry, and marriage came soon after. Along the way, God has blessed them with two beautiful girls and a son. The Lawsons found their destiny when they launched Daystar Church, alongside about 100 wonderful people from Cullman, Alabama. Since that small beginning, the church has grown into a large, multi-site faith family, serving communities across North Alabama and Uganda.

Pastor Jerry has also mentored hundreds of pastors through a twenty-four-month on-site training process called 24 to Double. He is the President and CEO of 24 to Double and continues to serve other churches through this not-for-profit ministry.
